tnt Fitness Overview

The tnt Fitness program is a 13-week program designed to get you into the best shape of your life. Each week during the program we provide you with 2 weight training sessions conducted in a small group with your tnt Fitness strength coach. We also have make-up training sessions available every weekend throughout the metro DC area, in case you miss a class during the week you won't miss a workout! So, including the make up training sessions you have 36 opportunities to complete 24 workouts.

Additionally, we provide you with a complete nutrition plan. This nutrition plan is not a diet. Diets don't seem to work because people don't like being told what not to eat. In our plan you can eat what you want, but you have to stay within our guidelines in order to be successful.

Further, we provide you with a specifically scripted personalized cardiovascular routine. We don't just put you on a piece of cardiovascular equipment and tell you to burn off 600 calories. We tell you exactly what to do, on what piece of equipment, for how long, and at what level you should work, and when to increase your intensity levels during your workout and throughout the program.

Finally, we provide you with three fitness analyses based on your body fat percentage and weight -one at the beginning, middle, and end of the program. These fitness analyses are used for you to set goals and acts as our monitoring system to make sure you are on track and if you are not we will make the necessary adjustments to get you back on track towards achieving your fitness goals.

What sets our program apart and gets people who participate with us is the team concept we use. You will enroll into a small group. This small group environment breeds fun and support while still enabling personalized attention from your coach. Over the 13-week program your team competes in a fun way for prizes against the other teams at your club. At the end of the 13 weeks the team that: has lost the most weight, gains the most strength, loses the most body fat percentage and most importantly has the best attendance ...wins a free month of tnt Fitness training at the end of the 13-week session; second place wins two weeks; and third place wins tnt Fitness t-shirts!

You see, over the 13 weeks you will get to know your team pretty well and sometimes you guys will share your progress with each other without even being asked. For example, you may come to class one day and say you lost 2 pounds last week. Your teammates will hear that and suddenly have second thoughts about going home to eat that ice cream or skip their cardio workout because they don't want to let you or the rest of the team down, plus everyone is then inspired to have an awesome tnt training session that day! The positive peer pressure method has proven to be very successful, and for many years, this is how we have been able to get thousands of people in the best shape of their lives through our program.
